Reader and community photo submissions have become an integral part of our coverage. If you would like to submit a photo for publication in The Brillion News, please email editor, David Nordby, at:
Please provide caption information and detail if you’d like a photo credit. If no photo credit is requested, we will label photos in print as “Submitted photo.”
In judging if photo is fit for print, photo content and photo quality will be taken into consideration. Simple staged photos (example: a child standing, smiling at camera holding a ball) would likely receive less consideration for print then something more unique and compelling to the reader (example: a child playing, throwing and kicking ball while smiling).
We appreciate all submissions, though, and do our best to publish as much as space allows.
Also, photo content that explicitly and clearly depicts people and happenings in Brillion, Reedsville, Forest Junction, Hilbert, Wrightstown, Morrison, Wayside, Greenleaf and other neighboring communities nearby stand a better chance for publication. It is recommended that one of these places is mentioned within the email body text as well (not just in documents attached), to stand a better chance of being seen by our email filters. We receive thousands of emails per month, and do our best to review and publish any newsworthy content in our coverage area.
If you have questions regarding the status of your submitted photo, feel free to call 920.756.2222 for an update.
