Big meth bust in Ledgeview Friday

The Brillion News

LEDGEVIEW - The Brown County Drug Task Force and the sheriff's department executed a search warrant in a drug bust in the Town of Ledgeview on Friday, April 3.

The sheriff's department SWAT team and patrol division assisted because, as anticipated, the parties did not cooperate and weapons were suspected.

After the residents refused to obey commands to surrender, chemical agents were deployed at the scene and the residents finally surrendered.

Over three ounces of methamphetamine and some weapons were found inside the residence (per photo attached).  There were three people arrested with several charges expected including: Possession of meth with the intent to deliver; keeping a drug house; felon in possession of a weapon; and failure to surrender.

Names and details are not being released as the case is still being wrapped up.  The incident lasted a few hours and there were no injuries to suspects or officers.
