Brillion City Center on pace for December (with photo gallery)

BRILLION – The downtown Brillion City Center project is currently on-schedule – about one-third complete – and should be finished around Christmas time.

Keller employees, who are handling the construction, have fought off the recent rainfalls the past few weeks to stay on schedule. The building will be mostly enclosed at the end of this week with window installations.

Drywall and insulation will begin the week of this coming Monday. The parking lot will be completed by the end of October.

The layout of the center is split into essentially two sides, which is why Brillion Public Works Director Andy Geiger says he describes the building as a duplex. The south side of the building includes the city council chambers where meetings and municipal court will take place. The north side of the building is city hall.

There will be an open area between the north and south side where community members can enter the building from Main Street or the parking lot shared with Dollar General through double sets of doors on both sides.
