GREENLEAF – On Monday, July 1, BC Organics presented its plans to build its $60 million manure digester and biogas production plant in the Town of Wrightstown.
The original plan had been to build it in the Town of Holland, but the Holland Town Board voted down the required conditional use permit 2-1.
The Town of Wrightstown Planning Commission heard the plan explained on Monday, then scheduled a July 8 tour of two older plants developed by the same firm.
A public hearing, scheduled for July 10, was determined to be premature, and was cancelled. It will be rescheduled later.
