New leader named for Ascension hospitals in Fox Valley

APPLETON - Michael Bergmann has joined Ascension Wisconsin as Fox Valley Hospital

President overseeing Ascension Northeast Wisconsin hospital facilities.

That includes Ascension Calumet Hospital in Chilton, St. Elizabeth in Appleton and Mercy in Oshkosh.

Bergmann starts in the new job on January 25.

Bergmann was most recently with Advocate Aurora Health as Primary Service Area President for Waukesha/Jefferson. There he was responsible for strategy, resource management and attaining key targets in health outcomes, safety, patient experience, employee engagement, community perception and growth.

He received his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Walden University, his Bachelor’s

Degree in Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

He is a licensed registered nurse.
