OBITURARY: Joyce A. Bergelin

Joyce A. Bergelin, age 74, a resident of Garrow Villa, Brillion, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Garrow Villa.

She was born on January 8, 1947 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ervin and Dorothy (Papke) Bergelin. Joyce was a graduate of Brillion High School, Class of 1965. She was employed in childcare for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed genealogy, reading, word and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, Chilton.

Survivors include two sisters: Ruth Tienor, San Antonio, TX., Lois Olesen, Wallingford, CT; a brother: Bob (Bev Johns) Bergelin, Oshkosh; her nieces: Lisa, Anna & Jennifer and two nephews: Danny and Jeff. She is further survived by cousins: Bonnie (Brad) Pihl and John Papke, all of Illinois, and close friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Robert Tienor and Robert Olesen. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 20, 2021 at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Chilton. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Thomas Schmitt with burial at Hillside Cemetery, Chilton. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Chilton, from 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Online condolences may be made.
