FOREST JUNCTION – A semi tractor-trailer rig tipped over while going through the roundabout at State 57/32 and U.S. 10 in Forest Junction around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.
The semi, owned by Country Visions Cooperative in Reedsville, was heavily damaged. The crash spilled the load onto the roadway.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Department blocked traffic on State 57/32 from using the roundabout. The Calumet County Highway Department responded with several trucks, a skid-steer and payloader, to clean up the debris and transfer the spilled load to another semi.
A heavy wrecker from Highway 42 Garage and Towing in Manitowoc County was called to the scene to handle the removal of the truck and trailer.
