Six homeless after mobile home park fire

BROTHERTOWN – Six people were left homeless after a fire that started in one mobile home spread to two more manufactured homes.

It happened after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, in the Town of Calumet. The Calumet Fire Department struck three alarms, drawing help from Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Calumet County fire departments – including Harrison, Forest Junction, Potter, Hilbert, Chilton, Stockbridge, New Holstein and St. Ann.

Three homes caught fire and two of them were destroyed. All of the residents got out safely.

The fire was at a mobile home park at the Brothertown harbor, on Harbor Road.
