BRILLION – The state legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance will hold the first of four public hearings on the state budget at Brillion High School.
The public hearing will be held at the high school, at County HR and U.S. 10, from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.
“I am extremely pleased that the Joint Committee on Finance has selected Brillion as one of four sites to hold statewide public hearings on the proposed budget,” said State Representative Al Ott, R-Forest Junction. “It is important for the Committee to hear from the people of Northeast Wisconsin. I’m happy that the residents of the Third Assembly District will have an opportunity to share their views on the budget proposal directly with the members of the Joint Finance Committee.”
The high school is in session on March 18. The Brillion Police Department was notified about the hearing today (Thursday, March 5), to allow it to make plans for managing traffic and security.
