TOWN OF CENTER/Outagamie County - A 24-year old village of Wrightstown man died at the scene of a crash involving two motorcycles, both eastbound on Outagamie County O.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, near the intersection of O with Mayflower Road, a couple of miles west of County A.

The other motorcyclist, aged 23 and from Little Chute, was transported to a hospital trauma center with serious injuries.

The two were headed east when the crash happened. Both men were alone on their motorcycles.

The Outagamie County Sheriff's Department said both speed and alcohol appear to have been factors. The crash remains under investigation.

The scene was closed for over five hours while deputies recorded evidence in case an accident reconstruction is necessary.

A complete story will appear in the March 4 print edition of THE BRILLION NEWS.
