Verna B. Otto, 77, Wayside died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Ledgeview Nursing Center with her family by her side.
She was born October 30, 1934, in Green Bay to the late Bernard and Rosalie Herzog Rathke. Verna was a graduate of Brillion High School, a homemaker, seamstress and mother of five. She married Elmer L. Otto, Jr. on November 6, 1954, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Morrison.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer; two sons and daughters-in-law Robert (Ann) Otto, Daniel (Tammy) Otto; three daughters and two sons-in-law Betty Pautz, Bev (Doug) Olm and Christine (Tim) Shimek; nine grandchildren Brenda (Paul) Dvorachek, Jennifer (Marc) Lindner, Bill Otto, Steve Otto, Mike Otto, Tyler White, Carlee White, Shelby Otto and Levi Otto; three great grandchildren Isabella, Cole and Addisyn Dvorachek; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Wesley and JoAnn Otto, Mel and MaryAnn Otto, Paul Kane, Marlene Revolinsky, Stewart Smith, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Verna was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer, Sr. (Lillian) Otto, brother-in-law Tony Revolinsky, two sisters-in-law, Judith Kane and Susan Otto Smith.
Friends may call from 4 00 to 8 00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church, 8378 County Road W, Wayside, WI and after 9 00 a.m. Monday until time of service. Funeral service 11 00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Steven Kline officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
