TOWN OF CHILTON - A crash Sunday afternoon just after 2 p.m. left a 5-year-old male dead in the Town of Chilton.
At approximately 2:06 PM, the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department was notified of an injury accident at Gravity Park Speedway in the Town of Chilton.
Initial investigation determined that a five-year-old male was operating a youth motorcycle on the race track had fallen and was struck by an 18-year-old male operating an ATV also on the race track.
The 5-year-old male died as a result of the injuries.
The accident is currently under investigation. Names have not been released.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Gold Cross Ambulance Service, Chilton Fire Department, Hilbert Potter, Brillion Police Department, ThedaStar, and the Calumet County Medical Examiner’s Office.
