Ariens Nordic Center sets grand opening date

BRILLION - A grand opening weekend for the brand new Ariens Nordic Center will take place from Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 to Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023.

There will be free skiing the entire weekend, in addition to food and beverages available for purchase beginning at 11 a.m. each day, an apparel shop, outdoor firepits, igloo and ice bar, and family-friendly kids activities.

A fireworks show is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m.

Equipment rentals will not be available during the weekend.

The Ariens Nordic Center is a world class facility that has been planned for the last two years. It will feature a 20-point biathlon range, a 5k network of year-round trails for recreation, training and competitions for cross country skiing, biathlon, roller-skiing, running, hiking and more.
