The Wrightstown Village Board will be in a learning mode when it meets on Tuesday, January 5, at 6 p.m. and the village hall.
The board will hear a presentation by municipal financial advisor Jon Cameron, of Ehlers Inc., outlining a plan for the village's capital financing through bonds and other borrowing.
In another matter, Village Administrator Travis Coenen's report to the board indicates that the plan for an $85 million residential development within the bounds of the Royal St. Patrick project will not be going forward after all. The plan had been unveiled in mid-December.
Also on Tuesday evening, the Holland Town Board will meet in the Alley Room at Van Abel's Banquet Hall at 7 p.m.
On the agenda: a request by Country Aire Farms to build a manure retention pit and consideration of an ordinance that would make property owners liable for expenses if a fire department had to call in extraordinary resources in fighting a fire - such as a bulldozer or back hoe.
