Brillion School Board member cited for underage drinking party

BRILLION – Rhonda Vande Hey, a Brillion School Board member, was given two citations for hosting an underage drinking party on Saturday, Sept. 19.

One citation is for procuring alcohol for an underage person(s). The citation’s fine is listed as $439.

The other citation was for knowingly permitting underage drinking by people under the age of 18. That citation’s fine is listed as $313.

Vande Hey is a long-time member of the Brillion School Board and currently serves as the group’s treasurer.

The citations were issued by the Brillion Police Department following a noise complaint. One person with knowledge of the incident confirmed no current Brillion High School students were cited.

Vande Hey is due in court for the citations on Nov. 10.
