Calumet County public vaccination clinic opens

CHILTON - Calumet County, in partnership with Ascension Calumet and St. Martin Lutheran Church, has opened a public vaccination clinic at St. Martin’s Church, 717 Memorial Drive, in Chilton.

The clinic is typically open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, dependent on the availability of vaccine doses.

At this time, appointments are being offered to people aged 65 and older, front-line health care professionals, and police and fire personnel. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Eligible recipients can schedule their appointment online (preferred method) at

www.calumetcounty.org/COVID-19 beginning every Monday at 10:00 a.m. They can also call 920-849-1466 to schedule with a staff member at that time.

During registration long wait times and delays are expected due to the extraordinary number of incoming phone calls. Messages left on the registration phone line will not be returned.

Public Health has been receiving a limited supply of vaccines, and in turn, the clinic can only offer a small number of appointments at this time. We anticipate our supply to increase in the coming months. Until that time, we greatly appreciate your patience.

Bonnie Kolbe, Calumet County Health Officer noted, “The effort to provide COVID-19 vaccines for those ages 65 and older is very important as they are our most vulnerable population. Our goal is to expand the availability of vaccination appointments weekly, however, that will be dependent on the number of vaccines we receive.”
