The Brillion News

The following press release was issued to The Brillion News from the Calumet County Sheriff's Department on behalf of the Chilton School District.

Tonight we were made aware of a possible threat at Chilton High School. Deputies from the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office along with Chilton Police Department responded. As a precautionary measure, the building was placed on lockdown. The school was searched by authorities and deemed to be safe, at which time the students were released. This is an isolated incident and at no time were our students in any danger. We will operate a usual school day tomorrow and all events will go on as scheduled. Law enforcement will be present during the school day and during all scheduled activities.

Our student safety remains our top priority!!
