Drivers in I-43 fatality identified

BELLEVUE - The Brown County Sheriff's Office has identified Edward J. Prahl, 74, of New Holstein, as the driver killed in a 6:24 a.m. crash on I-43 in the Town of Ledgeview, southeast of Green Bay on Monday, February 14.

He was the driver of an Equinox that apparently stopped in a southbound lane of traffic and was hit in the back end by a Silverado pickup. Prahl died shortly after the crash.

The driver of the pickup, 28-year old Andrew S. Zegers, of Green Bay, had minor injuries.

Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
