Fatal crash in Town of Brillion

The following press release was issued to The Brillion News regarding a fatal crash in the Town of Brillion.


Nov. 29, 2021


TOWN OF BRILLION - On Sunday, Nov. 28th, at approximately 7:25 PM, the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls regarding a two vehicle crash on Highway 57 at Man Cal Rd in the Town of Brillion.


Initial investigation indicated a SUV eastbound on Man Cal driven by a 50 year old male had failed to stop at a stop sign, and struck a southbound SUV on Highway 57 operated by a 54 year old female.


The male driver died as a result of his injuries at the scene. The female driver and two female passengers (both 54 years old) were transported by ambulance to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center Neenah.


The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by ThedaStar, Gold Cross Ambulance, Brillion Fire Department & First Responders, Brillion Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Forest Junction Fire Department, Hollandtown Fire Department, Calumet County Highway Department, Calumet County Medical Examiner, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.


The crash remains under investigation.
