Hilbert football game moved up one day

HILBERT - Thursday, September 2, just got a lot busier for Hilbert High School sports fans.

Friday night's opening Big East Conference football game - Hilbert at Ozaukee High School - has been changed to Thursday, September 2, at 7 p.m.

According to Hilbert High School, the change was made due to schedule conflicts with game officials.

Due to the football change, Thursday is no longer Parents' Night for Hilbert volleyball.

Parents' Night festivities are being moved to the evening of September 21, when Hilbert hosts Brillion in a non-conference meeting.

Parents with tickets for Parents' Night should keep them and use them that night instead.

The schedule for Hilbert sports on Thursday, September 2, now is:

Cross Country: Hilbert at Kiel Invitational, 4 p.m.

Volleyball: Reedsville at Hilbert, 7 p.m.

Football: Hilbert at Ozaukee, 7 p.m.
