SanMarco V. Houston, a 30-year-old man from Mississippi, was apprehended in the City of Manitowoc on July 28 on an active homicide warrant through the State of Mississippi.
Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office investigators assigned to the US Marshals Service - Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force were provided with initial information on SanMarco Houston by the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Meridian Police Department. USMS Task Force officers were able to locate a vehicle and confirm Houston was currently staying at a local Manitowoc hotel.
Houston was arrested without incident and transported to the Manitowoc County Jail. He will remain in our facility while awaiting extradition transport back to the State of Mississippi to face his charges.
