Man badly injured at construction site

WRIGHTSTOWN - A man working at a construction site on Wrightstown's west side was badly injured on Monday, February 14, in a fall.


It happened at about 10:35 a.m. when the worker, a 59-year old male from Green Bay, fell from the roof of a building under construction at 1290 Broadway Street (County DD) in the village.


Wrightstown Police Chief Greg Deike said the injuries suffered by the man are life threatening.

The man was transported to a hospital by the Eagle III EMS helicopter.

A portion of County U was closed to allow the chopper to land.

The site where the injury took place is where a truss manufacturing factory is being built.

The name of the man is being withheld pending notification of family. His medical condition is confidential.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Wrightstown Police Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The Wrightstown Police Department was assisted by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Wrightstown Fire Department, Greenleaf Fire Department, County Rescue and Eagle III.
