Man critically injured at Ariens Nordic Center

BRILLION – A man above the age of 20 suffered serious injuries during a skateboarding accident on Friday night at Ariens Nordic Center.

Brillion Police Chief Kirk Schend confirmed the accident to The Brillion News. He was unable to confirm additional details at this time, including the person’s exact age.

Schend said the investigation is ongoing. A press release is expected on Saturday.

Skateboarding is not one of the activities permitted at Ariens Nordic Center. The accident happened at the same time there was a 10K roller ski race series event at the venue.

Multiple ambulances and fire trucks responded to the scene.

WGBA-TV (NBC 26) was the first to report the accident.
