TOWN OF ROCKLAND, Brown County - A 34-year old Green Bay man was killed shortly after 6 a.m. on Friday, February 11, when his car collided with a pickup truck on Brown County PP, just south of the road's intersection with County W.

Brown County Sheriff's Lt. Tom Zeigle said the man's Chevrolet Volt was southbound on PP when the vehicle went out of control and into the northbound lane, colliding with a northbound Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 45-year old Greenleaf woman.

The Greenleaf Fire Department, Wrightstown Fire Department, Wrightstown EMS First Responders and a County Rescue Ambulance responded.

The driver of the SiIverado was not injured

The sheriff's department's Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit is handling the investigation. Zeigle said that alcohol does NOT appear to be a factor in the tragic crash.

The sheriff's department and the Brown County Public Works Department/Highway Division, closed County PP from County W south to Lasee Road for most of the morning.
