ALGOMA – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources staff is working with Kewaunee County Land and Water Conservation District to assess the impact of a manure spill into a ditch in the town of Pierce near Algoma.
Cleanup is underway by the property owners, Ebert Enterprises.
The incident near 8th Road and Highway 42 was first reported to the DNR on the evening of Sept. 24.
No further details are available at this time. The DNR will share additional information as it becomes available.
