Mishicot calls off on-campus middle/high school classes for 1½ weeks

The Brillion News

MISHICOT - The Mishicot School District has cancelled school for its middle school and high school students on Tuesday, October 6, and will hold classes in virtual, online, format from Wednesday, October 7, through Friday, October 16.

Green Bay television station WBAY-TV2 said the decision was made due to increasing numbers of students and staff testing positive for COVID-19 and being placed on quarantine status.

The hope is to resume classes in-person and on campus on Monday, October 19.

The school district is cancelling extra-curricular activities during the time of virtual instruction.

Mishicot is a member of The Big East Conference, which has its conference volleyball meet scheduled for Saturday, October 10, at the Champions Center in Grand Chute and its conference cross country championship meet on Tuesday, October 13, at Hilbert High School.
