Obituary: Allen G. Gill

Allen G. Gill, age 82, Reedsville area resident, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Garrow Villa Assisted Living in Brillion.


Allen was born on March 22, 1939 in the town of Maple Grove, son of the late George and Larelda (Kraus) Gill. He graduated from Reedsville High School with the class of 1957. Allen served in the United States Army from 1957 – 1958 and the Army Reserve for over 5 years. His work history includes, Ariens Company, O’Hare Airport limo driver, Culligan, Paragon Electric, Reedsville Co-op/Country Horizons, Rent-a-Truck-Saunders, Keller Equipment, Wander Springs Golf Course and farming until his retirement in 2002. Allen was a past member of St. Michael’s Chapel in De Pere. He enjoyed traveling in his younger years, gardening and cutting grass.

Survivors include two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Norman Gill, Reedsville, Earl (Nancy) Gill, Reedsville, Marie Gill, AZ; four sisters and one brother-in-law: Virginia Eckerson, Green Bay, Jan (Paul) Tisler, Reedsville, Larelda Siebert, Neenah, Rita Clark, Green Bay, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Larelda Gill; one brother: Harold Gill; one sister-in-law: Marlene Gill; three brothers-in-law: Carl Siebert, Alphons Delveaux, Robert DeBroux; two nieces and one nephew: Nanette, Amie and Casey.

Private family funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville. The Rev.
