Caroline H. Jentsch, age 90, of Potter, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Atrium Acute Care in Chilton.
Caroline was born on January 12, 1926 in the town of Rantoul, daughter of the late Fred and Tina (Bessert) Petermann. On September 4, 1943, she married Clarence A. Jentsch at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1971. Caroline and Clarence owned and operated their dairy farm until retirement. She enjoyed cooking, canning, fishing and ice fishing on Lake Winnebago with Clarence, and playing bingo at the casino. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul.
She is survived by her two children and their spouses: Joyce (Paul “Junior”) Labetzke, Jr. of Hilbert and Jeffrey (Marie) Jentsch of Francis Creek; two sisters-in-law: Shirley Jentsch of Hilbert and Arlene Gotter-Clark of Brillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Lenora (Wilbert) Pahl, Clarence Gotter, Edgar (Loretta) Gotter, and August “Charlie” (Doris) Gotter, and other-in-laws.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Patrick Niles. Cremation has taken place, and burial of her cremated remains will immediate follow the service in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
