Obituary: Christopher L. Robley

Christopher L. Robley, age 37, of Brillion, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023.


Chris was born on November 5, 1985 in Green Bay, son of Randy and Lisa (Brault) Robley. On October 31, 2013 he married the former Michelle Heideman of Hilbert, in Chilton, WI. Chris was employed with various companies over the years including Kobussen Buses where he started as a driver and worked his way up to head mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, songwriting, poetry writing and playing his guitar. Chris’ favorite passion was anything racing. He lived for racing. Chris could talk to anyone about racing and enjoyed going to the race track every week.

Survivors include his wife: Michelle Robley; his bonus son: Andy Zimmer; his fur baby: Loki; his parents: Randy and Lisa Robley; one brother: Ryan (Kamille) Robley; one bonus brother: Mike (Kim) King; his grandmother: Gloria Robley; three brothers-in-law: Jeremy (Sarah) Heideman, Daniel (fiancée Tracy Grosskreutz) Heideman, Chad (Heather) Gossen; nieces and nephews: Aubri, Layla, Kasen, Alaina, Karley, Morgan, Genny, Abby, Sophia, Stella, Max and Raina; his mother-in-law: Lori Gossen; father-in-law: Jim (Amy) Heideman. Many friends, other relatives and Chris’s racing family also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alex and Mary Brault, Merlin Robley; one special cousin: Justin Robley; his aunt: Wendy Schaefer; his step-father-in-law: Don Gossen, Sr.; one brother-in-law: Don Gossen, Jr.; grandparents-in-law: Arlene and Howard Scott, Carl (Josephine) (Twilla) Heideman; and one special uncle-in-law: John Plautz.

Funeral Services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion. Officiating the service was the Rev. Ross Henzi. Cremation will take place and Chris’ ashes will be taken home with Michelle.

The family meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.

In honor of Chris, the family ask that you wear your favorite racing shirt, but if you’re part of a team please wear your team shirt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in Chris’ name.

The funeral service will be live streamed on Pielhop Wieting’s Facebook page.
