Obituary: Connie Rae Petermann

Connie Rae Petermann, age 64, of town of Rockland, passed away on Sunday, December 31 2023.  

 




Connie was born on June 3, 1959 in Chilton, daughter of the late Robert and Angeline “Angie” (Porfilio) Hephner.  She was a graduate of Chilton High School, class of 1978.  She went on to further her education at Lakeshore Technical College and Fox Valley Technical College, earning a degree in nursing.  On May 14, 1983, she married Daniel Petermann at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chilton.  Connie gradually worked her way up in the nursing career to become a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career, she worked at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, the Chilton Nursing Home, and the Valders Clinic.  Before she passed, she was working at the Reedsville School District as the School Nurse and at Fox Valley Technical College as an instructor.   Connie loved her family, and she always found ways and treats to spoil her grandchildren whenever she could.  

 

Connie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dan of Brillion; their children: Nicole (Glen) Wirth of Brillion, Laura Petermann of Brillion, and Adam (Amanda) Petermann of Reedsville; grandchildren: Kaden and Kylie Wirth and Liam and Baby Girl Petermann; siblings and in-laws: Carmella Hephner of Virginia, Robert (Kim) Hephner of Chilton, Cathy (Norb) Brenner of Mount Calvary, Christine (Jesse) Hildebrandt of New Holstein; in-laws: Carol (Melvin) See of Chilton, Gerald “Sonny” Petermann of Brillion, Charlotte Bloemer of Brillion, and Nancy Petermann of Brillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Edwin and Georgianna (Keller) Petermann, brother-in-law: Tom Bloemer, sister-in-law: Geraldine Petermann, and other relatives.  

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Tom Pomeroy and Deacon Greg Van Thiel.  Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery, Brillion

 

Friends may call at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  A Prayer Service will conclude the visitation led by Deacon Greg Van Thiel.  Visitation will continue at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
