Gundula B. Duchow, age 79, of Potter, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Azura Memory Care in Manitowoc.
She was born on July 17, 1938, in Germany, daughter of the late Maxmilian and Alma (Weiss) Perlick. She married Donald G. Duchow on July 8, 1961. Gundula was an avid homemaker who liked to can and was a fabulous cook and baker. She also liked doing arts and crafts and spending time with friends at their coffee gatherings. She was a member of the Rantoul Sunshine Homemakers and served on the Calumet Medical Center Auxiliary Board.
Survivors include her sons, George (Priscila) Duchow of Brazil, Eric (Robin) Duchow of Potter, Perry Duchow of Potter, 3 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Britta and Emily Jo, a sister-in-law Erika Perlick of Berlin Germany and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Don on February 2, 2008, a sister Ingrid Perlick and 3 brothers, Klaus, Horst and Dieter Perlick.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1st from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. The celebration of Life Service will be at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Potter Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com
