OBITUARY: Heidi C. Bubolz (VanDeWalle)

Heidi C. Bubolz (VanDeWalle), 42, of Brillion, formerly of Crivitz, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 30, 2021, due to a motorcycle accident. Heidi was born on August 25, 1979 to Merlin and Christine VanDeWalle (VanEycke).


Heidi was a 1998 graduate of Crivitz High school. Upon graduating, she attended Fox Valley Technical College and received her Associate of Farm Operations. She worked at Kwik Trip and enjoyed her time there where she made many good friends. Heidi was currently employed with WEL Inc. working as a Driver Manager.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, four wheeling, going to the cabin, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Heidi is survived by her parents, three children, Michaela, Zachary, Joseph, their father, Andrew (Rebekah) Bubolz, three sisters; Renee, Margaret (Sonny) Graese, Sarah Borkovec (special friend, Ted Klaver), second mom; Ann VanDeWalle, brothers; David (Mary) VanDeWalle, Brian (Sarah) VanDeWalle, Paul (Cari) VanDeWalle, Scott VanDeWalle, maternal grandmother; Esther Gerrits, paternal grandmother; Ileen VanDeWalle, further survivors include; special friend, Lynda and son Erik, nieces; Brianna, Trinity, Julie, nephew; Carson and many cousins, aunts, uncles, also many, many friends that were like family.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Donald VanEycke and Jerome VanDeWalle, uncle/second dad, Doc VanDeWalle.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coleman on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will begin at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Matthew Langebartels officiating. Heidi will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Crivitz.

Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home Coleman is assisting the family.


Your favorite color was teal…….you were loud at times, but we all knew your heart was quiet, gentle and caring…you loved your family and friends more than life itself…you were a mama bear to everybody’s kids… you never cared what people thought of you…you did things your way and you did what made your heart happy…….you were a hard worker….you loved Jesus…you will be greatly missed by all……..
