Obituary: Jean Marie Geiger (Ley) (Chipper)

Jean Marie Geiger (Ley) (Chipper) passed away on October 20, 2025.  Jean was born to Donald and Ann Ley on March 1, 1959.  

Jean was a graduate of St. Mary’s School in Greenleaf, Wrightstown High School and Fox Valley Technical College.  Jean became a Mechanical Drafter and lived with Multiple Sclerosis for most of her life.

Jean is survived by her son Jacob and wife Nikki Geiger, grandchildren, Elliana and Dylan Geiger, sisters, Rose Schaefer (Scott), Mary Sekeres (Tom), Barb Martin (Frank), Linda Vander Heiden (fiancé Loren Miller), brothers Don Ley (Jenny), Steve Ley (Sue) and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Jean is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Geiger, the father of her sons, David Geiger, her parents, Donald and Ann Ley, her brother, Richard Ley, brother in law, Pete Vander Heiden and many relatives and friends.

Family and friends may gather on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at St Clare Parish St Mary site 2218 Day St., Greenleaf from 12 pm until 3:45pm, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 4 pm.
