OBITUARY: JoAnn Wenzel

JoAnn Wenzel, age 76, of Brillion, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Brillion West Haven.

JoAnn was born on July 15, 1942 in the town of Eaton, daughter of the late Joseph and Appolonia (Rollmann) Dorn.  She was a graduate of New Holstein High School, class of 1960.   JoAnn was employed at O’Connor Pharmacy in Brillion for many years.  She enjoyed walking, biking, and reading.  JoAnn especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, and brother.

She is survived by her children, Kim (Steve) Heraly of Green Bay, Lea (Russ) Calaway, and Lance Wenzel all of Brillion; grandchildren: Matthew (Stephanie), Daniel (special friend Teresa), and Thomas (fiancée Amy) Heraly, Maxwell, Anna (special friend Nathan), and Brenna Calaway, and Avery and Lily Wenzel; her great-grandchildren, James and Hazel; her sisters and brother, and in-laws: Charlotte Dedering of Kiel, Kate (Joe) Heimerl of Kiel, Donna (Donny) Jacques of Fond du Lac, Jan (Bob) Mand of Malone, and Sue (Lyle) Pitzen of Kiel, and Joseph “Butch” (Linda) Dorn of New Holstein; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Dorn, one brother-in-law, Bob Dedering, one niece, Annette Dedering, one nephew, Lonnie Heimerl, and other relatives.

A Memorial Service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion.  Officiating will be the Rev. Tom Pomeroy.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
