OBITUARY: June E. Waack

June E. Waack, age 90, of Brillion, formerly of Manitowoc, native of Reedsville, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Brillion Westhaven. 

June was born on August 12, 1926 in Reedsville, daughter of the late Otto and Alma (Karnopp) Dahlke.  She was a graduate of Reedsville High School, class of 1945.  June worked as a teller at the Reedsville bank and then as a clerk as JC Penny until her retirement.  She was a former member of First German Lutheran Church in Manitowoc and enjoyed bible study when she was able to go.  She also crocheted, read endlessly, and made the best German potato salad. 

June is survived by her children and spouses: Janet (Tom) Flynn of Wilmington, NC, Ruth Richter of Johnson City, TN, Linda (Mark) Donaldson of Leland, NC, Dale Waack of Manitowoc, Kim (Bruce) Barnard of Brillion, and Karen (Todd) Udvig) of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren: Trevor, Jennifer (Tim), Jillian (Chris), Eric (Amanda), Jamie (Ryan), Chelsie (Jamen), Jared, Mary, and Katie; great-grandchildren: Aidan, Carter, Emelia, and Hailey; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Ionne (Rev. Erv Froehlich and Conrad Seegers) Seegers, Verna (Norbert) Kratz, Helma Dahlke, Ellen (Ray) Barta, Lorinda (Vern) Peterik, father of her children: Elroy Waack, and other relatives. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion.  Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Thomas Fricke will officiate.  Burial will take place in St. John St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Reedsville. 

Friends may call at the church in Brillion from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
