Katharine Jean Kupsky age 62 of Tamarack, FL passed away Nov 9, 2022 after a brief illness.
Kathy was born Dec 27, 1959 to Wesley & LaNida Kupsky Sr in Shawano Wisconsin. She was a 1978 graduate of Reedsville High and in 1983 graduated from UW-Stout. Afterwards she moved to Florida and became caretaker for the children of Rhon and Ellen Ernest-Jones. She then became a CAD drafter, most recently working for Calvin, Giordano and Associates in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley Sr and Lanida as well as a step-mother Judith Kupsky.
Kathy is survived by 6 brothers and sisters-in-law Wesley Jr & Carol, Chilton; Richard & Nancy, Brillion; Kenneth & Betty, Greenleaf; Patrick & Barbara, Cato; Andrew & Victoria, Visalia CA, and Timothy & Sarah, Whitelaw. She is also survived by 2 sisters and a brother-in-law Barbara Myers, Ocala FL and Denise & Eric Wicklund, Bridgeport NE. She is further survived by her step-sister Michelle Belland , and step-brothers Craig & Paula Belland, and William Belland all of Manitowoc, along with Aunt Phyllis Gruel of Bonduel, Uncle and Aunt Carl and Shirley Kupsky of Sartell MN, cousins and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Kathy helped raise the children of Rhon and Ellen as almost a second mother. Her family thanks them for taking her into their home and hearts. She is remembered there by Rhon & Ellen; Ben & Aurore; Nathaniel & Laurie; and Alex & Tess along with their families. We also thank their extended family especially Graham and his family along with neighbors Harold & Nancy Griffin who helped care for Kathy during her illness.
Kathy had a love of music and travel and caring for others. She traveled to Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe and most of the US. She was devoted to her families, spoiling nephews and nieces on her visits home whenever possible as well as caring for her spaniels Brittany, Lexie, Sophie and Barclay.
A friends and family remembrance service will be at Zion Lutheran Church 8378 County Rd W in Wayside on April 15, 2023. Visitation starts at 10am with a service at 11 followed by burial at Our Saviors Cemetery in Valders. In lieu of flowers we request you make a donation to your local pet shelter.
