OBITUARY: Kenneth “Kenny” Raschke

Kenneth “Kenny” Raschke, age 66, of Brillion, died on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at his home.

He was born on November 27, 1950 in Manitowoc, son of the late Adolph and Clara (Denor) Raschke. Kenny worked at the New Hope Center in Chilton and Tadych’s Econo Foods in Brillion. He was a huge Brillion Lions fan and was the team mascot for many years. He did volunteer work in the Chilton and the New Holstein area and participated in Special Olympics for many years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion.

Survivors include his siblings, Roger Raschke of Brillion, Rodenne (James) Krueger of Montello, Judith (Ronald) Osesek of Hubertus, Jeanne Tepolt and fiancé Marvin Watters of Menasha and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Donald Tepolt.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Sunday at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 2 to 4 p.m. and then at the church on Monday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the New Hope Center in Chilton, Roads to Freedom House in Brillion and Calumet County Hospice, for the care and compassion given to Kenny.
