OBITUARY: Lenroy R. Haese

Lenroy R. Haese, age 85, a Brillion resident, died Monday, October 12, 2020 at Brillion West Haven, Brillion.



He was born on February 17, 1935, in the town of Rockland, son of the late Roland and Hilda (Krepline) Haese. Lenroy was a graduate of Brillion High School. On June 25, 1960 he married the former Verlene Petersen at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. He retired in 1999 from Brillion Iron Works after more than 40 years of employment. Lenroy was a member of Peace Church, Brillion. He loved the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Badgers and especially the Brillion Lions. He always made sure to be at the games to watch his children and grandchildren.


Survivors include his wife: Verlene Haese, Brillion; their children: Kevin (Cindy) Haese, Dawn (Bill) Voight, Amy (Jay) Krahn; a daughter-in-law: Sara Haese, all of Brillion; a sister-in-law: Darlene Haese, Reedsville; a brother: Delwood Haese, Brillion; grandchildren: Donald (Maureen) Haese, Brussels, Meghan (Robert) Withrow, Germany, Kaitlyn (Mike) Krepline, Reedsville, Erin Haese & Patrick Haese, Brussels, Mitchell (Morgan) Krahn, Brillion, Amanda (Zachary) Zoellner, Kaukauna, Rebekah Krahn Brillion; step grandchildren: Michael & Jennie Spears, California, Steven & Samantha Spears, California, Emily Thiry & fiancé Jared Amenson, Green Bay, Nathan Thiry & fiancé Kimberly Porkany, Brillion, Rachel Thiry, Green Bay;  great grandchildren: Carson Krepline, Henry and Raelynn Krahn, Anthony Zoellner, Donald Haese Jr., and step great grandchildren: Wesson & Mason Spears, Jack, Luke & Mikaela Spears. Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.


He was preceded in death by his parents: Roland & Hilda (Krepline) Haese, a son: Dale Haese; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Elva (Rades) and Ervin Petersen, and two brothers: Glenver & Eljien Haese. 


Private family funeral services were held at The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, with Pastor Nancy Zorn officiating. Lenroy will be laid to rest at the Brillion Community Cemetery.
