OBITUARY: Leroy C. Pautz

Leroy C. Pautz, age 89, formerly of Kiel, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care, New Holstein.

Leroy was born on October 30, 1928 in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Elmer and Hilda (Bartel) Pautz.  He farmed on the family farm until he moved to Kiel in 1957.  Leroy then worked for the Borden Company in Plymouth for 32 years until his retirement in 1991.  Leroy was a longtime member of St. Peter UCC, Kiel.  He loved hunting and fishing and spending time up North.

Leroy is survived by his siblings: Norman (Barb) Pautz, Chilton, Jeanette Maurer, Kiel, Blanche Wasmuth, Brillion, Vernice (Earl) Krueger, Potter, and David (Susan) Pautz, Kiel.  Leroy is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Lester (Ethel) Pautz; two brothers-in-law: Daniel Maurer and Dale Wasmuth, two nephews: Donald and Wayne Pautz.

In keeping with Leroy’s wishes there will be no services.  Cremation will take place with burial in the Brillion City Cemetery, Brillion.
