Marvin A. Behnke, age 90, of Kaukauna (previously of Brillion), took the hand of his Father and was led home on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
He was born on June 7, 1928, son of the late Charles and Margaret (Boldt) Behnke. Marvin was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a strong Christian for the army of the Lord. Marvin had a beautiful voice, and he used his God-given talents in times of worship and also for fun. After farming, he was employed at Gruett’s Inc. in Potter, WI for many years until his retirement.
Marvin is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Kathleen (Genal) Behnke; children: Cindy (Mike) Triggs, Dennis (Lynn) Behnke, Wendy (Scott) Mader, Kevin (Laura) Behnke, Stefanie Lorbiecki and Anne (Jeff) Gruett; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a sister, LaVerne Schwahn; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lauraine Bruss, David (Carol) Genal and Nancy (Dallas) Niermeyer; his special buddy, Sunshine; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret; his first wife, Cecilia (Schultz) Behnke; a granddaughter, Angela Behnke; two sisters and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 15, 2018, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 705 E. Greenfield Drive, Little Chute, with Rev. Ronald Szep officiating.
