Obituary: Rachel L. Luckow

Rachel L. Luckow, age 98, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital on Friday, September 29, 2023. She was born in Forest Junction to Benny and Myra (Timm) Ott on March 5, 1925. In June of 1944 she married Howard Luckow.

Rachel is survived by her daughters: Marilyn (Donald) Bloy and Carole (John) Ringel; her grandchildren: Brian Bloy, Jason (fiancée Lorna Hill) Bloy, Jesse (fiancée Amy Janssen) Ringel, and Jodi (Luke) Koller; great grandchildren: Dana (Dylan) Garner and Brooks and Gage Koller; great great grandchildren: Aurora, Roman, Abram, and Soren Garner; sister, Germaine Wandrey; and sister-in-law, Betty Ott. Rachel is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; brother, Duane Ott; sister, Beverly (Harlan) Rau; and brother-in-law, Verlin Wandrey.
