Stanford “Butch” Bettner, age 75, a Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
He was born on February 10, 1944 in Potter, son of the late Ruben and Adela (Lerche) Bettner. Butch worked at the Ariens Company of Brillion for many years. He also loved to golf.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Kelly (David) Brennan, Manitowoc; a son: Lance Bettner, Kiel; five grandchildren: Kiley, Cole, Rayne, Mayhem & Freya; two sisters: Lyndoris Jandrey, Chilton, Wynogene Schmitting, Menasha; and a brother: Dennis Bettner, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Harley Ann; three sisters: Gloria Brehmer, Rochelle Bettner, Viorene Bettner and two brothers-in-law: Norman Jandrey and Art Schmitting.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at The Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Dr. Marc Axelrod.
