Playoffs: The ranks thin down

Wrightstown beat Chilton, at Chilton, on Thursday, October 22, to advance in the WIAA Division 2 girls' volleyball playoffs. The Wrightstown Tigers beat the Chilton Tigers 3-2 - with game scores of Wrightstown 14-25, 25-18, 25-23, 20-25 and 15-10 Chilton. WHS meets Valders, at Valders, at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 24. The Vikings beat Kiel Thursday 3-0.

In Division 3, Saint Mary Catholic beat Hilbert 3-2, with game scores of Hilbert 19-25, 15-25, 25-12, 25-21 and 15-11 SMC.

Also in D3, Mishicot beat Reedsville 3-2: Mishicot 26-24, 20-25, 15-25, 25-23, 16014.

In Division 4, Stockbridge was swept 3-0

by Almost-Bancroft on Thursday, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-23.

In boys' soccer, Wrightstown opened Division 3 tournament play by downing Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy 2-1.

The Tigers next play Kiel, at Kiel, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 24.
