Road work resumes once 4th weekend ends

GREEN BAY - The state Department of Transportation (DOT) will get back to doing road work in the area after the Fourth of July holiday weekend end.

All maintenance operations are weather dependent.



In Calumet County, maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on westbound U.S. 10 from Lake Park Road to Fire Lane 6, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, July 6 to Thursday, July 9. Various lanes on U.S. 10 at this location will be closed during repairs.


Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on northbound/southbound State 57/32 from Mueller Road to Greve Court, between Hilbert and Chilton, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8. Flagging operations will control traffic through the work zone during repairs.

In Manitowoc County, maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on southbound and northbound I-43 from Carstens Lake Road/CNW Railroad, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, July 6 to Wednesday, July 8. Various lanes on I-43 at this location will be closed during repairs.

Motorists are urged to slow down and be mindful of workers near highways.
