Schlender resigns as Brillion head football coach

BRILLION – Jeff Schlender has resigned as head coach of the Brillion football team after four seasons. Schlender informed the school of his decision late last week.

Schlender has been a part of the Lions’ football program for 20 years and was an assistant coach on the 2003, 2004 and 2010 state championship teams.

He took over as head coach in 2014 following the retirement of Peter Kittel.

Schlender will continue to coach track and field for Brillion.
