Sheriff wants help finding shooting suspect

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department is looking for help locating a man wanted in connection with a shooting incident in the Village of Bellevue on April 6.

Deputies have a warrant for the arrest of 28-year old Damont L. Thurmond. He is a black male, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for first degree recklessly endangering safety and for possessing a firearm as a felon.

Thurmnond is believed to have been one of two shooters  involved as gunfire was exchanged between people in two different vehicles in the 1400 block of Guns Road – not far from the Green Bay east side Wal Mart store.

If you know where he is, call police. Do not approach Thurmond yourself.
