TOWN OF RANTOUL – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon when the bike he was operating left the road in a curve on Calumet County JJ, just west of Long Lake Road.
It happened around 2:45 p.m.. The motorcycle operated by 50-year old Dale Lemberg of Whitelaw man was westbound and left the road in a curve. Both the driver and his passenger – a 36-year old woman – were thrown from the motorcycle.
Lamberg was dead at the scene. She was taken to the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, where she was treated and released. Hilbert/Potter EMS First Responders and Gold Cross Ambulance attended the injured at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by deputies from the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department. .
