WIAA girls' playoffs begin February 25

The WIAA on Monday released pairings for the regional quarterfinal and semifinal girls’ basketball games.

In Division 3, Brillion (#5 seed) hosts New Holstein (#11 seed) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25. The winner advances to play Kewaskun (#3 seed) on Friday, February 28.

Wrightstown (#1 seed) has a first-round bye, and opens play on Friday, February 28, hosting the winner of Tuesday’s game between Amherst (#9) and Peshtigo (#8).

In Division 4, Fond du Lac Springs (#6 seed) hosts Reedsville (#11 seed) on Tuesday, February 25, with the winner advancing to face Winnebago Lutheran (#3) on February 28.

In Division 5, Hilbert (#5 seed) hosts Sheboygan Lutheran (#12) on Tuesday, February 25. The winner faces the University Lake School-Central Wisconsin Christian winner

Stockbridge (#9 seed) plays at Burlington Catholic Central (#8) on Tuesday, February 25. The winner faces the Oakfield-Salam School winner.
