GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Police Department, on Friday, March 13, arrested a 28-year old Wrightstown man for attempted homicide. Taken into custody was Morris Ray Quinn, whose last known home address was in the 400 block of Janet Lane in Wrightstown.
Green Bay Police were looking for him after taking several others into custody in connection with a shooting on Shawano Avenue, near Green Bay West High School on Wednesday, April 11.
On Friday morning, police heard that Quinn had been at a home in Green Bay, but he was gone when officers arrived. Later, patrol officers spotted a vehicle associated with Quinn and arrested him.
Police say the shooting at the Shawano Avenue home was in dispute over the sale of a gun.
At the time, Quinn was free on $3,000 cash bond from a felony drug charge filed in November of 2017 in Brown County and on two weapons and one drug charge filed in September of 2017 also in Brown County.
He is scheduled to be back in court for a pre-trial hearing on the manufacture/delivery of cocaine charge and the weapons and possession of cocaine charges on May 21.
Quinn also has used an alias of Travon Johnson, according to court records.
Green Bay Police indicated that they will ask the district attorney to charge Quinn with attempted homicide and armed robbery for the April 11 incident.
