Wrightstown school board to meet virtually

WRIGHTSTOWN - The Wrightstown School Board will meet at 6 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, March 25) at the Elementary School Library.

It will be a virtual meeting and may be viewed by connecting to this website: https://www.wrightstown.k12.wi.us/district/AGENDA.cfm.

The meeting includes a hearing on three items related to the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on school operations: 1, waiving instructional hours requirements; 2, authorization for the board to promote education in light of the pandemic emergency; and 3, authorization the district administrator to act on the board's behalf to promote the cause of education in the emergency.

The board is also expected to respond to the resignation of high school special education aide Jennifer Herman and the retirement of high school special education teacher Jane Bennett.
